Unimo Privacy policy

Effective date: [Month Day, Year]

Who we are: [Unimo, Inc.] (“Unimo,” “we,” “our,” or “us”)

Scope: This Privacy Policy explains how Unimo collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data when you use our Unimo iOS app, websites, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

If you have questions, contact us at [contact@unimo.chat] or by mail at

What is “personal data” at Unimo?

We use “personal data” to mean any information that relates to an identified or identifiable person (alone or in combination with other information). Examples include identifiers (like a name or email), device and app identifiers, precise or coarse location, and usage data. We treat aggregated or deidentified information as nonpersonal data. This definition mirrors the approach used in Apple’s Privacy Policy, adapted here for Unimo.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights over your personal data—such as the rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and receive a portable copy. Residents of the EEA/UK and California have additional regionspecific rights described below.

How to exercise your rights is explained in “How to exercise your choices & rights” below.

Personal data we collect

The personal data we collect depends on how you use the Services and which features you enable.

1. Data you provide directly

o Account & profile data: name, display name, email, avatar, [phone], [age range], [country/region].

o Content you submit: feedback, support requests, inapp posts or messages you choose to send, and metadata attached to that content.

o Payment information (if applicable): processed by [payment provider]; we receive limited transaction details (e.g., purchase amount, timestamp) but not full card numbers.

2. Data collected automatically

o Device & app information: device model, OS version, app version, language, time zone, IP address, mobile identifiers, crash logs, and diagnostics.

o Usage data: app interactions, screens viewed, session duration, and referral source.

o Location: [precise] or [coarse] location if you grant permission in iOS settings; otherwise not collected.

3. Data from others and integrations (if you use them)

o Sign in with Apple: we receive your Appleverified user identifier and, if you consent, your name and email (or Apple’s relay email). Apple does not track which apps you sign in to. Apple

Thirdparty SDKs and partners: if you choose to enable features powered by partners (e.g., analytics, crash reporting, messaging, payments), those partners may collect data in accordance with their privacy notices. You must disclose these practices in your App Store “App Privacy” section. Apple Developer+1

Why we use personal data (purposes)

We process personal data for:

· Provide the Services: create and maintain your account, deliver features, process transactions, and provide customer support.

· Improve and secure the Services: monitor performance, fix bugs, fight spam/abuse, detect fraud, and perform analytics and research.

· Communicate with you: service messages, updates, transactional notices, and—with your choice—product news or offers.

· Personalization (optional): tailor content or experiences within the app when you opt in.

· Legal compliance: tax, accounting, regulatory obligations, and to respond to lawful requests.

Where required, we rely on a lawful basis such as consent, contract, legitimate interests, or compliance with legal obligations. This section mirrors Apple’s reasonforuse structure while describing Unimo’s own purposes. Apple

App Tracking Transparency (ATT) and advertising

Unimo will request your permission before tracking your activity across other companies’ apps and websites for advertising or databroker purposes. If you do not grant permission, the iOS advertising identifier is unavailable (all zeros) and tracking as defined by Apple is not permitted. You can change your choice anytime in Settings > Privacy & Security. Apple Developer+2Apple Developer+2

Your choice in the App Store: Unimo’s App Store product page includes an “App Privacy” section where you can review the data types our app collects, whether data is linked to you, and whether it’s used for tracking—information we supply in App Store Connect. Apple Developer+1

Cookies, mobile identifiers, and similar technologies

While mobile apps don’t use browser cookies in the same way websites do, we and our providers may use SDKs, local storage, and mobile identifiers to remember your settings, measure usage, and improve app quality. If we use web pages, we may use cookies there for the same purposes. (Apple’s policy groups these under “cookies and other technologies”; we apply the same concept for SDKs in mobile.) Apple

When we share personal data

We do not sell personal data. We share data only as described below:

· Service providers (processors): vendors who host data, provide analytics, messaging, fraud prevention, payments, and support. They must follow our instructions, protect your data, and may not use it for their own purposes.

· Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

· Legal and safety: to comply with law, protect rights, safety, and the integrity of our Services.

· With your direction or consent: for example, when you connect Unimo to a thirdparty service.

This mirrors Apple’s “Sharing” structure (service providers, partners, others at your direction) but applies to Unimo. Apple

Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We periodically review retention periods and delete or deidentify data that is no longer needed. This approach tracks Apple’s practice of retaining data only as long as needed. Apple

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data (for example, encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we continuously improve our safeguards. (Apple emphasizes strong privacy built on strong security; we adopt that principle here.) Apple

Children’s privacy

Unimo is not directed to children under [13/16, as applicable], and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children without appropriate consent. If we learn we have collected such data without consent, we will delete it. The structure of this section follows Apple’s “Children and Personal Data” safeguards. Apple

International data transfers

We may transfer, store, and process your personal data outside your country of residence (e.g., the United States). When we do so:

· For transfers from the EEA/Switzerland/UK, we use European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and, for the UK, the ICO International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) / Addendum, as applicable. ICO+3European Commission+3EUR-Lex+3

We evaluate transfer mechanisms and supplement them with additional measures as needed.

Your choices & controls

· Permissions: You can grant or revoke OSlevel permissions (e.g., Location, Notifications, Tracking) in iOS Settings. Apple Support

· Marketing: You can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time via the link in the message.

· Personalization: Where offered, you can toggle personalized features inside the app.

· Analytics & diagnostics: You can opt out of certain analytics in [app settings path] or via OS controls where available.

How to exercise your rights

Send a request to [contact@unimo.chat] with “Privacy Request” in the subject line, or use [inapp privacy request flow]. We will verify your identity (and, where applicable, your authorized agent’s authority) before fulfilling requests. If we deny a request as permitted by law (e.g., to comply with recordkeeping or prevent fraud), we will explain why.

EEA/UK residents (GDPR)

You have the rights to be informed, access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, data portability, and not be subject solely to automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. You can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. EDPB+1

App Store privacy labels

We disclose our data collection and usage practices—covering data types, whether data is linked to you, and whether it is used for tracking—on the Unimo App Store product page per Apple’s App Privacy requirements. Review that disclosure before downloading or updating the app. Apple Developer+1

Developer tip (for your internal checklist): Ensure your App Privacy answers in App Store Connect reflect your code and any thirdparty SDKs you include. If your app uses tracking, ATT prompts must be implemented and accompanied by a clear purpose string. Apple Developer+1

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy and, where appropriate, by sending you a notice in the app or by email. The “Effective date” at the top indicates when the policy last changed. This mirrors Apple’s practice of posting notice for material updates. Apple
